ASUS has posted a fresh teaser on Chinese social network Weibo, hinting at plans to release an 18-inch laptop in the ROG series. From the video, it’s gonna have a thin bezel and RGB backlight, so it’s definitely a gaming laptop.

The specifications of the new product are not disclosed, but it can be assumed that there will be a 13-generation Intel Core Raptor Lake-HX processor and a mobile video card NVIDIA RTX 40. It’s also likely to have a high-frequency display, lots of memory, and a powerful cooling system.

Judging by the video, the new product will be officially presented at the upcoming CES 2023 consumer electronics exhibition, which starts on January 3, 2023. The price will probably be announced at the exhibition or soon after.

Earlier today, Alienware, Dell’s gaming division, also announced the launch of a new 18-inch laptop. The company had systems like this about 10 years ago.

It’s probably going to be on display at CES 2023, too.
