Reactivate is an online action game that can be played solo or in groups of up to four people.

Recent rumors have been confirmed Splash Damage is indeed developing a game about transformers. That one’s subtitled Reactivate.

In the world of Reactivate, Earth has been invaded by aliens known as the Legion. Now, all humans can hope for is the help of Autobots, who have to be reassembled in pieces.

Reactivate is an online action game that can be played solo or in groups of up to four people. Users will be able to control “one of their favorite characters” who can transform from robot to car and back again on the go.

Splash Damage is the developer and publisher of the action game. The production also includes Bulkhead, which Splash Damage recently acquired for an undisclosed sum. Bulkhead was previously notable for the Battalion 1944 multiplayer shooter and the puzzle The Turing Test. The two companies have a combined workforce of over 500 people.

Transformers: Reactivate will launch on PC and unnamed consoles. Closed beta testing will take place in the winter of 2023.

New Transformers is one of the few original games that Splash Damage and Bulkhead have been involved with. No other projects have been announced.
