An updated version of the first “Gothic” is created for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

THQ Nordic, on the eve of Christmas and New Year, congratulated fans on the upcoming holidays and showed a new video Gothic 1 Remake.

The short video offers to listen to music from the remake soundtrack by composer Kai Rosenkrantz and to watch a new screenshot showing the castle in the Valley of the Mines.

An updated version of the first “Gothic” is created for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and PC. There’s no release date for the remake yet.

The authors also recently said that they are trying to make the project close in spirit to the original.
