Update 3.4 will expand the Genshin Impact game world: Sumeru will have another desert area. We’ve seen it on maps, but now with Unknown Goddess, we can virtually walk through the desert.

Most of the site is a huge multi-level “crater”. Descending to its center will take a huge amount of time, and players will see several ancient temples and ruins along the way.

Apparently, the easiest way to explore a new location is with a glider and a new hero who can fly. To make it easier for players, the developers have arranged many waypoints around the location.

Update 3.4 will be released on January 18, 2023.
