This month, the alchemist simulation Potion Craft left early access on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG) and was released on Xbox. Now the game is making its way to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch tinyBuild and niceplay games have announced that the launch on these platforms will take place this spring.

In Potion Craft, you cook potions for the people who come to your shop. The ingredients are a lot of flowers, berries, roots, fruits and so on. The designers have put a lot of effort into the tactile process: you interact with the tools yourself — you pour water into the kettle, you grind the ingredients in the batter, and you mix the batter.

Potion Craft provides a space for role-play and self-activity. The alchemical map allows you to experiment and create different recipes. The finished elixirs can be customized to suit the shape of the glass, the label, and the color. You can sell dangerous potions to shady people, and you can only work with decent customers.

Our author Ruslan Prysekin has already tried the release version of the game and was disappointed. In his opinion, Potion Craft was released too early some mechanics are clearly incomplete, and the gameplay is very fast. The verdict is “Breakthrough”.
