James Gunn has denied rumors that Lady Gaga has joined the Guardians of the Galaxy film universe. Part 3 of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a good one.
Those with a good eye may have noticed a quick clip in the film’s debut trailer that featured an otter hugging Rocket. This character is none other than Lilla, the love interest of Bradley Cooper’s character, whom fans have long hoped to see in the MCU.
Soon after it was introduced, rumors began to swirl about who might be the voice of Lady Gaga. Interestingly, she previously worked with Bradley Cooper on A Star Is Born. When the rumors spread, Gunn clarified the situation.
In response to a fan’s question whether the actress’s name begins with G and ends with G, the director replied: It’s not so.
The character is introduced in a film that Gunn claims is about the character of Enoch voiced by Bradley Cooper. Gunn has previously confirmed that Rocket is the reason why he needed to finish the trilogy.
The Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 3 will be released in theaters on May 5, 2023.
