The second season of Robert Kirkman’s popular comic book series Invincible, from Prime Video, will premiere next year.

This was revealed in an exclusive interview by Collider with Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon Studios, during a conversation about the success of the show “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”, which has been watched by over 100 million people.

The series premiered on Prime Video in March 2021. It quickly became one of the biggest hits in the streaming platform’s history. The company renewed the animated series for a third season, giving the creative team enough freedom to plan the future story. However, despite the excitement of fans over the second season of “Invincible”, we still did not know when the series would return.

As for the exact release date, it should be revealed in January.
