The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has an ESRB age rating.

2023 promises to be rich with anticipated releases, and one of them is certainly The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

While Nintendo has been slow to reveal new details since the game’s announcement, a little more information about the project surfaced online last week.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom page on Nintendo’s North American website has been updated with an official age rating. The regulator rated the game’s content as suitable for persons over 10 years old, as with the previous part of 2017. The notes to the rating mention the presence of “fantasy violence” and “soft insinuating themes”, but nothing more.

The age rating may also indicate that the game is almost complete and is nearing release.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is scheduled for release on May 12, 2023.
