Motive Studios has released the fourth issue of Dead Space from the ground up.

Motive Studios has released the fourth issue of Dead Space from the ground up, in which the developers share information about the updated version of the horror.

In a recent piece, the creators talked about a new system called the Stress Operator, which controls random events in the game, affecting the player’s emotions through small changes in the atmosphere and thus maintaining a constant tension.

According to the authors, their goal was to create an interactive movie experience, so the system is designed to give players the opportunity to occasionally transpose. For example, in some cases the game will throw up some sort of tense situation, while in other cases the ship’s movement will go smoothly.

The stress operator is designed so that players never know what to expect in the next second, making each pass a unique experience.

Dead Space is set to be released on January 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox 360 and PC.
