Sonic Frontiers almost won the “Players’ Choice” category at The Game Awards 2022.

Sonic Frontiers’ action adventure almost won the “Players’ Choice” category at The Game Awards 2022, and on that occasion, the game director of the new blue hedgehog game, Morio Kishimoto, made an interesting announcement.

First of all, the Japanese developer thanked all the fans for their support and his team for working on the project. But most importantly, his announcement was a promise that the next game would surprise fans more and provide them with a more immersive experience.

By the way, this isn’t the first time Kishimoto has hinted at a new project. The developer previously said that he and the team will continue to work hard to take the Sonic franchise to “greater heights”.

As for the near future, SEGA has already announced a free add-on for Sonic Frontiers for 2023. The first DLC will delight fans with new story content and playable characters. Also, at the end of this month, players will be given a free holiday costume.
