In its fifth weekend, the Marvel Studios film grossed about $11.1 million, bringing its total U.S. box office to $409.8 million. As for the worldwide collection, it reached the mark of $767 million.

The film is expected to gross $800 million by the end of its run, as Avatar: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is set to open on December 15, 2022.

The sequel to Black Panther was highly praised by critics and fans. The film has an 84% rating from critics and a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the sequel failed to match the original, which grossed over $1 billion.
