“Rise of the Deadly Dead” is coming out April 21st.

Warner Bros. has released a short teaser for Evil Dead Rise, the next installment of the demon-fighting horror franchise, but this time without Bruce Campbell as Ash.

It’s a little girl looking through a doorway, and there’s a demon waiting to take her mother.

It was directed by Lee Cronin, who also wrote the screenplay with Sam Raimi. Sam will produce the film with Bruce Campbell. The cast includes Alice Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Morgan Davis, Nell Fisher, Jaden Daniels and others.

Synopsis: The first day of school.

Beth pays a belated visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three children alone in a cramped apartment in Los Angeles. The sisters’ reunion is interrupted by the discovery of a mysterious book deep within Ellie’s home, spawning demons that invade flesh. Beth is dragged into a primal battle for survival as she faces the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.

“Rise of the Deadly Dead” is coming out April 21st. Previously, the film was to be released exclusively on HBO Max.
