Six minutes of gameplay have been released for Crime Boss: Rockay City, a first-person shooter with robberies, announced today at The Game Awards 2022.

The video shows a bank robbery mission. The heroes start on the roof, quietly eliminate the guards, pick up their gear. They then descend on the ropes, get inside, find a way to open the roof hatch for the helicopter, and break into the vault. At that moment, the alarm goes off and the gunfight with the SWAT team begins. At the end, the robbers have to find a way out through the tunnels and hide in the boat.

Crime Boss: Rockay City can be played in a co-op of up to four people, as shown in the demo, or solo. The game takes place in the bright and sunny Rocky City of the 1990s, where players must build their own criminal empire by committing robberies and taking territory from rival gangs.

To enhance the atmosphere of the nineties, the developers invited for the cast of movie stars of that era. The lead character of Travis Baker is played by Michael Madsen, and his team of planners and curators includes Michael Rucker, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, and Damien Poitier.

Crime Boss: Rockay City is being developed by the independent team Ingame Studios with support from 505 Games and Epic Games. The game will be released on PC on March 28 via the Epic Games Store, and will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XS later in 2023.
