Microsoft will raise the price of new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S exclusive titles to $70 starting in 2023.

Microsoft told IGN that it will raise the price of new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S exclusive titles to $70 starting in 2023. So at the start, Starfield, Redfall and Forza Motorsport will be $10 more expensive.

A company representative stated that prices may vary by region. Microsoft added that the increased cost reflects the scale, amount of content and technical complexity of the aforementioned games, noting that Xbox Studios games will also be in Game Pass from the start.

In late October, Phil Spencer hinted that the Xbox and Game Pass price increases were imminent. Apparently, there was a game to this statement. At the launch of the current generation, $70 games began to be sold by Sony, Ubisoft, Take-Two and other major publishers.
