Hugh Jackman has publicly revealed what fans should expect from Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3.
Reynolds has been trying to get Jackman to join him on a Marvel movie for a while. However, the actor was never able to convince the performer to put on his metal claws again. Yet Jackman himself has suddenly decided to return.
But how exactly will these two interact with each other?
On The Empire Film podcast, the actor noted that, in evaluating the closeness of the duo’s relationship in Deadpool 3, they receive a “zero” on a scale of 1 to 10:.
Out of 10 very close, zero is reality is who we are. We are zero. We are opposites. We hate each other. I’m just saying… let’s talk about it from my point of view. My hero is disappointed in him. Wants to be a million miles away from him or hit him over the head. So, what… I’m probably gonna hit him a lot on the head.
He went on to note that the dynamics of the two would resemble the 1982 action comedy 48 Hours, at least in terms of the banter between them.
Deadpool 3 is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024.
