Michael Keaton is recruiting a stellar cast for his film Knox Goes Away. The cast has already been joined by Al Pacino and James Marsden. The film also stars Susie Nakamura, Ray McKinnon and Dennis Dugan. It is set to be released in 2015.
Michael Keaton himself will be starring in Knox Goes Away.
The film will follow John Knox as Keaton, a killer diagnosed with a rapidly progressing form of dementia. He vowed to spend his last days trying to save the life of his adult son (Marsden) and thus atone for his sins. To do so, he will have to contend with dangerous killers, the authorities, and his own mind.
The script is written by Gregory Poirier (“The Lion King 2: The Pride of Simba”, “Treasure of the Nation: The Book of Secrets”). Principal photography is complete, but the film has no release date yet.
