The Game Post has spotted a lead gameplay engineer position at Bungie for an unannounced third-person action game. The description says that the title will be created on the internal engine of Tiger.

It’s powered by the original Destiny and Destiny 2. The engine itself is a heavily modified version of the Blam technology that Bungie used to develop the Halo series. What kind of third-person action is that, we don’t know.

Bungie is working on a revival of Marathon in the form of Escape from Tarkov and Hunt Showdown.

Back in 2018, the studio trademarked Matter, and Bungie head Pete Parsons said the team would release a new game by 2025. In early 2022, Bungie was bought by Sony for $3.6 billion.
