Gameindustry.biz, citing data from GfK, reported that the football simulator was the best-selling game of the Christmas holiday season for the tenth time. The second best is Call of Duty, which has done it nine times. The two leaders’ hegemony was only interrupted by Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2020.
