Network sources have reported that Stranger Things is being adapted into an anime. This is indicated by the renewed contract between Netflix and the Duffer brothers, who are directing the project. They’ve been talking about a spin-off a few times.
The new project is called Stranger Things Tokyo and will tell the story of a Japanese gaming fraternity that gained access to the Iznanka. The anime series will be around 6 hours long, but the number of episodes is not specified.
It’s also set in the 1980s. No release date has been set, nor is it clear which studio will be developing the game. It’s probably a long time before graduation.
David Harbour, who played Sheriff Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, has said he’s excited to work on a new God of War game.
