The upcoming prequel series, The Witcher: Bloodlines, will be completely different from the main show with Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. It will offer viewers a rare and harsh world that will be perfected in the future. The corresponding details were shared by the show runner of the project Declan de Barra in an interview with Total Film.
The series will follow the rise of a doomed Elven civilization, introducing viewers to a company of characters who may not be on the same page at first, but are united by common goals.
The Witcher: Bloodlines premieres on December 25, and in the meantime, the third season of The Witcher is in production, in which Henry Cavill has last tried out the character of Geralt of Rivia, after which the role will go to Liam Hemsworth.
