First raid, Atomgrad, will take place in an underground facility with a water maze.

Infinity Ward has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will currently receive five raids, the first of which will be available on December 14 as part of the midseason update.

The studio has stated that all subsequent episodes will appear once a season. All future missions will be linked together. Thus we know that Modern Warfare 2 will be supported for at least five seasons until the release of the paid expansion in the fall of 2023.

The first raid, Atomgrad, will take place in an underground facility with a water maze. Players are expected to take on the roles of Gaza, Price, and Farah as they infiltrate the submarine base, and at one point, the heroes will have to share an oxygen tank.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on PC and consoles of both generations.
