Dan Hay, who worked for 10 years at Ubisoft on the Far Cry series, became the general manager of an unannounced survivor from Blizzard.

As noted by PCGamesN, Hay contributed as executive producer and creative director for all Far Cry games from the third to the sixth.

Before joining Ubisoft, he spent nearly four years at Day 1 Studios working on F.E.A.R. 3 and Fracture. Prior to that, he also worked on X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Marvel Ultimate Alliance as art director and lead designer and cinematographer.

It’s likely that Hay became a boss for survivalist game director Craig Amai. The fact that he is the head of production has also been revealed by LinkedIn, by the way, Hay’s social media profile has not yet posted a line about moving to Blizzard, and Amaya’s hasn’t changed anything either.

Little is known about the mysterious Butterfly Project. In August, a drunk journalist told a podcast that he had seen the survivor in the early stages of production and was impressed by what he saw.
