Avalanche Software has released the second gameplay update for Hogwarts Legacy, a role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe.
The half-hour stream began with a free-flying demonstration on a broomstick around Hogwarts. The player will be able to upgrade their broom not only externally, but also in terms of characteristics, for example, increasing the speed and distance of flight above the ground.
Animals will also be used as transportation, including the hippogriff, which can be used both as a land animal and as a flying machine.
Seasonal markers are used as narrative markers and change as you progress through the main plot. Players will notice that the scenery changes with the seasons, not just outside but inside the school. The authors mentioned the day and night cycle, and also showed the difference in the change of seasons.
Next, they demonstrated the Dark Arts battle arena in the Forbidden Forest, where you can practice your fighting skills.
At the end of the broadcast, they showed the Help Room, which acts as a personal space and can be personalized. It will also have a vivarium where players can house rescued animals from the outside world, care for them, play with them, and so on.
Hogwarts Legacy is coming to current generation platforms on February 10th. The pasting version will be delayed until April 4, and the Switch version will be released on July 25.
