Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released on Steam on December 6 and received mixed reviews from users (63% positive reviews). The main reason for dissatisfaction is lack of achievement.

Ars Technica noted that the game’s EGS version also lacks the advancements possibly due to the game being released there before the feature appeared in the store. But there are tutorials on Ubisoft Connect.

Players had noticed the problem as early as November, but the developers didn’t respond until last week. The first version of the post stated that the inclusion of achievements was not planned, and earned watchers could be viewed on Ubisoft Connect. And then they edited the post to say, “We’ve got this problem, we’re going to review it”

On the day of Steam’s release, Valhalla also began a crossover with Destiny 2.
